TJF Services, Earlston Having designed the new logo for TJF Services Scottish Borders Website Design set about creating the new site. As a business based in the Borders the client wanted to make use of stock photography that visually tied the site to the Borders and the services offered. A wintry shot of the Eildens combined with a work related photo did just the job; to finish things of a random testimonial is pinned to the foot of each page to add a personal feel. Delightful feedback from the client: “Speachless… Bloody fantastic!!!!!!! I will be looking at it all day with a big smile. Can’t wait to show it off. Many, many thanks.”
TJF Services, Earlston Just got the thumbs up from the client with regards the new TJF Services logo design. The brief was quite straight-forward: bold and blue with a little something else! Scottish Borders Website Design added a slight gradient fill to the strong serif font, and a generic icon with flashes of blue reflections to ensure an original look.
Borders Wedding Car Hire, Galashiels The new Borders Wedding Car Hire website launched earlier today. The amazing Bentley Arnage is the star of the show, and Scottish Borders Website Design based the colour scheme of the site on the interior and exterior car colours. The font selection ties in with the wedding theme, and as the photos of the car say everything, the site makes use of Flash to allow interested parties to browse through photos and get in touch to make a booking.
J&S Anderson, Hawick Having struggled to find reliable hosting and a designer willing to keep their website up to date, J&S Anderson contacted Scottish Borders Website Design for assistance. The brief for this new website design was for a no nonsense online catalogue showcasing products for sale, with a search facility and contact details. As requested, the site pretty much does “exactly what it says on the tin”!
Westend Garage, St. Boswells Scottish Borders Website Design launched the new Westend Garage website last week, right on time for a series of adverts on Radio Borders. Most clients rely on traditional search engine optimisation and marketing once a site has gone live in order to help build up website traffic and Page Rank. In this instance, the use of adverts on Radio Borders really got the new Westend Garage website noticed quickly (not to mention considerable interest in Scottish Borders Website Design as a happy consequence)!
I captured this dramatic sunrise not long before moving east to Berwickshire. The Tweed Valley is a highly photogenic area, but when you are presented with such a stunning sunrise it’s hard to take a bad photo! This was taken just west of Peebles.
